Weird "Emergency Alert" Interrupts TV Viewers Across America

Americans watching television across the country were puzzled earlier today when an alert from the White House interrupted their viewing, told them to stand by for an emergency message and warned them not to use their phones.
UPDATE: AT&T has blamed a "nationally syndicated radio station" for sending the alert message, despite the fact that only the federal government can send out EAS alerts.

I've worked at a couple of cable companies. This is not that strange to me, or even important. It's the emergency alert system, and up until now, it only alerted with localized alerts. It appears they have finally made a way for the white house to be able to send out messages when they want to. Before, it would have required the white house to contact each city/area and tell them to send out an alert. Now, if they need to alert us, they can do it without having to contact anybody. And also, for years the TV providers have had the ability to change your channel, monitor what channel you are watching, monitor viewing habits, and much more. Whether "big brother" is watching you or not is not the issue with this situation, because it's been possible all this time, you just never noticed it until now. I swear, sometimes people do a much better job at raising fear and concern than the government. I don't think this is anything important.

they are testing it getting it ready for martial law. The tv stations didnt even know that their programs were disrupted and hijacked.the white house can just hijack the stations and change your channels-- also it said dont use your phone- you need to leave the lines open.-hummm interesting
A few weeks ago we received a call from the emergency alert system, it was a test. I only recall a few calls from them my entire life. Again pretty crazy timing with this EboLIE shit going on.

Yep...and right after a false flag in Canada yesterday, involving Gov...and apparently a soldier shot at the War Memorial.
Weird thing is, though....Canadian film crews were told to stand down...at gunpoint...but American film crews had five or six cameras there...funny that, huh? PLUS, a huge power outage in most of Ottawa WHILE it was happening....AND, shit posted on the Internet that they COULDN'T fix...it was time stamped.....lol.....but they DID change the content on some other stuff. PLUS, we'd 'supposedly' gotten threatening messages from ISIS also, warning us NOT to get involved.
