It's meteor-mania on Twitter after reported sightings
People on Twitter and various news organizations were reporting sightings of a possible meteor over the U.S. East Coast on Friday night. Unconfirmed reports from a local station, WBOC-TV, said it might have landed near the Maryland/Delaware line.

There must be literally thousands of frightful, horrid, ugly and agonizingly painful ways for humanity to meet it's demise. It would seem however, that the foreknowledge of a certain grisly or tortuous means of death or worse yet - to actually see it coming and not be able to do anything but await it's arrival is exactly what gives it such exquisite and universal appeal ( as witnessed in across the board media of late ), especially when thunderous events occur to remind us of our fragility and insignificance.
