Praise God - They survived this.
Not much picture... you don't need it. As a Hurricane Andrew survivor,
this made me weep. Brought back the sounds and the wind's fury.

The video i took while at Fastrip on east 20th street. We huddled in the back of the store until the glass got sucked out , then ran into the walk in storage fridge. Sorry for the lack of visuals but the audio is pretty telling of how intense the storm was. The tornado hits at around 1:20 seconds.

- This is really a freak out. Thank God you are all OK. For some reason, this video is more terrifying than any other video or picture I have seen of a tornado. Hearing the storm, the breaking glass, the voices, the crying child- Its all just awful. Whoever was taking charge here did such a great job. So calm and in control. a real blessing to everyone there. I'm praying for all of you in Joplin.
- Everyone should see this...put it on all the news networks.
- wow. hope everyone is ok.. scary as heck
- Thank God you all are alright. Thanks for the quick thinking to move to a safe place in the building. This is just unreal. My prayers go to all of Joplin.
- My family is in Joplin and I don't know whose voices I might be hearing in this video, but I'm so thankful you're all okay. Thanks for posting this.
- So terrifying!
- Someone from the Red Cross said 75 % of the town is gone.
- thank goodness you all made it, i assume. may i recommend people carry more protective clothes in their cars, just in case you need even to help in an emergency. it is easier to stay safe if you have sturdy shoes, and long pants/sleeves. and easier to cope with the aftermath. blankets also, over your heads, for protection.
- holy fuck, amazing footage
