KANSAS CITY, Missouri - The search for a Joplin teenager swallowed up into the tornado Sunday has expanded to the Kansas City area.
Will Norton's family continued their desperate search at all the major metro hospitals Tuesday.
Friends and family still have no idea where 18-year-old Will is located. He's nowhere to be found, days after the tornado sucked him out of his car.
The Joplin High School senior was on his way home from graduation.
The tornado bore down as Will and his father were heading home from his high school graduation Sunday evening.
A seatbelted Will was driving and his father was in the passenger seat.

As the storm approached, a relative said his father, Mark, called Will's sister who was just a few minutes ahead.
Will's second cousin Toni Cox told NBC Action News, "They were in the house. He said we're less than a mile away."
But the twister touched down before they arrived.
Cox said, "While on the phone he said 'oh there's -- very upset -- the tornado'. We'll pull over and then she didn't hear anything further."
When emergency crews arrived to the car it was a mangled mess. Will's Hummer was unrecognizable.
Mark was rushed to the hospital. Will was nowhere to be found.
Cox said, "When Mark regained consciousness he said he had tried to hold onto Will. His seatbelt had snapped and he was sucked out through the sunroof of their Hummer 3 they were driving."
Will was gone in a flash. He had disappeared with the nearly 200 mph winds.
The search for Will has gone on for days in the Joplin debris and has now expanded to Kansas City.
Family members are dropping off fliers to metro hospitals with Will's photo just in case those hospitals receive any more unidentified John Does.
The family said Will has dreams of being in film. He just got accepted to Chapman College in Orange, California.
On Sunday, injured patients were rushed to hospitals in several states so Will's family is hoping someone might recognize will in our area.
