QUETZALCUATE: Finally Revealed

Quetzalcoatl (Quetzal Cuate), the prophesied God-King of the Mexica, is now revealed by the light of ethnohistory, linguistics, mesoamerican writing, and most importantly, through the Bible.
Many people have erroneously translated Quetzalcoatl as, "feathered serpent". This is an incorrect linguistic translation as well as an erroneous understanding of Toltec theology and Central Mexican writing.
The nahuatl word for "feather" is /mitl/, so "feathered serpent" would then be /micoatl/, which of course does not say anything about Quetzalcoatl.
There are two ways to translate Quetzalcoatl, literally and metaphorically.
Literally: /quetzalli/, "beautiful long green feather of the quetzal bird"
Metaphorically: /quetzalli/, "treasure, jewel, father, mother, Lord, Leader, Protector, beloved son"
Coatl has various meanings also, /coatl/, "serpent, snake, navel, abdomen, twin"
A literal translation could use any of the above combinations, but since Quetzalcoatl refers to a PERSON, and in metaphor to a SERPENT, the identity is well pronounced in the Bible when Moses lifted up the Fiery Serpent on the pole, which was a representation of Jesus Christ.
2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl
Hence, "Precious Serpent" would be an appropriate translation because it points to the crucifixion of the Son of God, foretold by the Serpent on the pole. "Beloved Son", "Lord and Protector", "Precious twin", etc. This last translation is interesting, Jesus was unique because He was both God and Man at the same time, He was 100% God and 100% Man, therefore Jesus truly was a precious twin within himself, but beyond that beautiful expression, in Nahuatl, coatl [coate] is also a term of endearment that is said among friends, the friendship is so deep, that one person calls another "unrelated" person COATE. And since Jesus Christ was indeed 100% HUMAN, He indeed is our COATE.
Quetzalcoatl is a Cuate because in Him is found Divinity and Humanity in one person.
The Feathered Serpent
Hence:
1. Quetzalcoatl, like Jesus, was born of a virgin woman: Isaiah 7:14 "Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel [God with us]."
2. Quetzalcoatl suffered and sacrificed Himself for the human race: Isaiah 53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."; 1 Corinthians 5:7 "Christ our passover is sacrificed for us"
3. Quetzalcoatl, like Jesus, died for us: Romans 5:6 "For when we were without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly."
4. Quetzalcoatl, like Jesus, resurrected from the dead: Revelation 1:18 "I am he that liveth, and WAS DEAD; and behold, I AM ALIVE forever more, Amen; and havce the keys of hell [the grave] and death."
5. Quetzalcoatl, like Jesus, ascended into heaven: Acts 1:9 "while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight."
6. Quetzalcoatl, like Jesus, will descend in a cloud: Acts 1:11 "this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."
7. Quetzalcoatl, like Jesus, promised to return as King and Liberator:
Luke 21: 27,28 "And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." Revelation 14:14 "And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud ONE sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle."
Lest anyone be confused, when Quetzalcoatl comes, it will ONLY be in the clouds of heaven, not in the desert, not in any secret chambers, because ALL EYES will see him. It's going to be a LOUD, and VISIBLE event.
