RUSSIAN METEOR, ASTEROIDS & BIBLE PROPHECY

| Meteorite Crash In Russia 15 February 2013 |
On Friday in Russia, a meteor streaked across the sky and exploded over the Ural Mountain city of Chelyabinsk, producing a powerful shock wave that smashed windows, collapsed roofs and destroyed structures in the city.
The meteor produced an intense flash of light that could be seen 300 miles to the north and could be seen Kazakhstan, more than 80 miles to the south. (See Video's on page)

The Russian Academy of Sciences estimated that the meteor weighed around 10 tons and was traveling at 10 to 12 miles per second. What make this interesting is that in the Book of Revelation, asteroids impacting the earth, are a part of the Tribulation Period.

I wrote the article below entitled, "Asteroid to Threaten Earth in 2013." I wrote the article sometime in 2012 or earlier. Clearly, not everything in that article has come true, yet!
Asteroid to Threaten Earth in 2013
The signs of Christ's return are everywhere. If you are walking in the Word of God and in the power of the Holy Spirit, you should have a burning urgency to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ because time is running out. Jesus Christ specifically warned us about the signs in nature and in the skies. Those signs are: earthquakes, famines, plagues and disease, asteroids, falling stars, meteors, storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunami's, and floods. Just recently in America, once again storms hurricanes and tornadoes are smashing into Southern Indiana, Central Kentucky, Tennessee and will most likely affect Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi and Ohio.
This is just in America alone. In Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and South America there is all kind of freak weather! These are the "signs of the times," that Jesus Christ said would signal the end of the age. God is warning His people to get ready, fast, pray, repent and reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Jesus Christ said:
"And there will be great earthquakes and from place to place famines and pestilences, and there will be frightful events and great signs from heaven." Luke 21:11
"And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and there will be upon the earth anguish of the nations in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and rolling waves." Luke 21:25
"People fainting from fear and expectation because of what is coming upon the inhabited earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken." Luke 21:26
Now, scientists have announced that an asteroid will pass dangerously close to the earth in February 2013. The 60-meter asteroid known as DA14 will pass within 16,700 miles. In scientific terms this is within a hair's breadth of earth and could cause a possible collision.
NASA expert Dr. David Dunham told students at Moscow's University of Electronics and Mathematics (MIEM):
"The Earth's gravitational field will alter the asteroid's path significantly. Further scrupulous calculation is required to estimate the threat of collision," said Dr. Dunham, as transcribed by Russia's Izvestia.
"The asteroid may break into dozens of small pieces, or several large lumps may split from it and burn up in the atmosphere. The type of the asteroid and its mineral structure can be determined by spectral analysis. This will help predict its behavior in the atmosphere and what should be done to prevent the potential threat."
In the event of a collision, scientists have calculated that the energy released would equate to the destructive power of a thermo-nuclear bomb. Dunham also remarked, "The asteroid may split into pieces entering the atmosphere. In this case, most part of it will never reach the planet's surface."
However, it is possible if the asteroid crashes into the planet, the impact will be as hard as in the Tunguska asteroid impact blast in 1908 knocked down trees over a total area of 830 square miles in Siberia.

"Now immediately after the tribulation of those days, THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL FROM HEAVEN, AND THE POWERS OF THE HEAVENS WILL BE SHAKEN." Matthew 24:29
"And at that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the nations of the earth will mourn. And they will see the SON OF MAN COMING UPON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory." Matthew 24:30
"But in those days, after that tribulation, THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT." Mark 13:24
"AND THE STARS WILL BE FALLING from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken." Mark 13:25
Mark 13:26 And then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN THE CLOUDS with great power and glory.
"And I looked when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood, and the stars of heaven fell to the earth, like a fig tree drops its late figs when shaken by a strong wind, and the heaven was split like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved from their places."
Revelation 6:12-14
I believe the "signs of the times," have already begun. The seven year Tribulation Period is coming faster than we think. This along with all the other signs Christ warned about, including Israel, God's prophetic super-sign, are strong signals for people to get ready for the Return of the Lord and bring in the harvest. They are like the virgins whose lamps were full of oil waiting for the return of the Bridegroom. They copied the cover of the "Are You Ready?" and made an invitational brochure out of it.

A pastor from Africa contacted me the other day about showing the series in his church. Statistics show that most Christians do not even lead one person to Christ in their entire lives? Many believers are deeply deceived and falsely believe that God is not going to hold them accountable for saving souls. Although, it is true you get into heaven through faith, the Apostle Paul tells us that true faith always produces works!
