KUSA - A small community in Kansas has been left with a big mark. A sinkhole in Wallace County is something that residents have told local media outlet needs to be seen to understand its awe-inspiring scope.
Large Cracks coming from the edges of the sinkhole.
A KWCH report says the sinkhole occurred a few days ago and is 200 feet across and 90 feet deep. The local sheriff notes the hole appears to be getting bigger and doesn't know what it takes to make it stop.

The Kansas sinkhole that has swallowed a pasture continues to grow and is leaving people in disbelief, awe, and on edge as the Kansas sinkhole continues to grow. "Man had nothing to do with this. This is a God thing. There's no oil well around here, there are no irrigation wells anywhere near. This is something that just happened," said Sheriff Larry Townsend according to an Aug. 2, 2013, KWCH report.People daring to get close!

Watching the Kansas sinkhole video helps one understand why Sheriff Townsend says that there is no explanation for why the earth apparently opened up overnight and left a giant sinkhole in the middle of Dalton Hoss' pasture just a few days ago. There is indeed absolutely nothing there.
When one of the residents of Wallace County in Kansas discovered the sinkhole that is 200 feet across and 90 feet deep, he called his brother. “He called me up and his voice was quaking and he said, 'You'll never believe what I just saw.”
Other residents from the small western Kansas community are similarly in disbelief. “Something unexplainable happened that's left people in awe and a little on edge.”
