Above posted in Facebook January 14, 2013

JT: OK.............This just IM'd to me. This person has military connections............and this person told me I should post this now. So I am. God bless us all.

Excerpts from the Comments ~

JT: Yes, but the real deal is..........we have an accumulation of evidence of these incoming rocks, as well as FEMA already up and running there.and nasa's red X, back when. We have to take these seriously.

SL: Did you read the Yahoo article? It almost seems like an article with no real point. Do you think it was a warning but not meant to be interpreted that way by everyone? Very odd article on Yahoo. Almost like rambling if you ask me.

YAHOO NEWS ARTICLE:

"Drop And Cover If You See A Bright Flash," Doctors Urge

January 10, 2014 8:57 AM

Excerpt from the Yahoo News article ~

http://news.yahoo.com/quot-drop-cover-see-bright-flash-quot-doctors-135700488.html

During the 2013 Chelyabinsk meteor explosion, a fourth-grade teacher in Chelyabinsk, Yulia Karbysheva, saved 44 children from potentially life-threatening window glass cuts by ordering them to hide under their desks when she saw the flash. Ms. Karbysheva, who remained standing, was seriously lacerated when the explosion's blast wave arrived and windows shattered. A tendon in her arm was severed, but not one of her students suffered a cut.

"Large meteor strikes are sufficiently probable that both the U.S. and Russia are working on ways to divert them. In 1908 a meteor strike flattened 800 square miles of Siberian forest," stated president Jane M. Orient, M.D.

Bright flash across the area Sunday evening

Providence, RI

A mysterious light flashed through the sky Sunday night, maybe you saw it? Reports of a green and white, sparking light came pouring in across New England, but what exactly was that bright flash?

....

But Bynum wasn't the only one who saw the bright green and white flash, in fact 188 reports came into the American Meteor Society from Philadelphia all the way up to Maine.

Michael Umbricht is the Curator of the Ladd Observatory at Brown University. He explains, "Basically this was a type of meteor that is sometimes called a fireball because it is so bright."

 ....

This "fireball" wasn't part of a meteor shower, it was a sporadic meteor. Sporadic meteors aren't that unusual (the last one recorded on film at the Ladd Observatory was about two years ago), but this one was a bit special. Umbricht goes on, "this one happened to be much brighter than the ordinary ones so that's a little rare."

The flash lasted only a few seconds around 5:20PM.

All Hell Breaks Loose Day

Re-Blog from Modern Survival Blog

Could this happen here on November 1st?

The Department of Homeland Security says yes it can…

…and they are spending 80 million dollars on armed guards in preparation for it…

According to a FOX report by Neil Cavuto, “November 1st could be a very very iffy kind of a day… this could be all-hell-breaks-loose day.”

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is spending $80 million on armed guards to batten cities down, and to protect the IRS and other buildings in cities like New York… not from terrorist threats, but from American citizens, because on November 1st the food stamp program is set to start decreasing, and they are worried that violence will ensue.

We are on a slow march to becoming Greece. What this says more than anything is when you have nearly 50 million Americans on food stamps (while 100 million Americans are receiving some type of food assistance, a third of the country)… you have a situation where what government gives to you, government can take away. So will there be hell to pay?

When entitlements are threatened, violence becomes a concern.

Apparently some food stamp benefits are being rearranged and reduced slightly beginning November 1st.

Statistic:
There are 97 million private workers in the U.S. and 101 million receiving food aid.

While the food stamp reductions apparently are not major, it seems that the DHS thinks it’s enough to potentially invoke problems, enough to spend $80M on security.

OR, is there something else going on??

We shall see. Thought you would like to know…

Big Brother, Big Government, Big Data

Ken Jorgustin   Modern Survival Blog

The next big threat to your privacy is… the new mammoth NSA spy center in Bluffdale Utah, 25 miles south of Salt Lake City. And it’s almost complete…

As contractors with top-secret clearances put the finishing touches on the spy center prior to it going ‘live’ in September, the $2 Billion project is one of immense secrecy. It is the final piece in a massive puzzle assembled over the past decade, and according to the NSA will have a major focus on cyber security, while critics say thatthe center will also be storing data on all Americans.

Some of the data storage and analysis plans include…

“…all forms of communication, including the complete contents of private emails, cell phone calls, and Google searches, as well as all sorts of personal data trails—parking receipts, travel itineraries, bookstore purchases, and other digital “pocket litter.” It is, in some measure, the realization of the “total information awareness” program.

It will intercept, decipher, analyze, and store vast swaths of the world’s communications as they zap down from satellites and zip through the underground and undersea cables of international, foreign, and domestic networks.”

“…breaking codes;” “Much of the data that the center will handle includes financial information, stock transactions, business deals, foreign military and diplomatic secrets, legal documents, confidential personal communications, all which will be heavily encrypted.”

According to a top official involved with the program, the NSA made an enormous breakthrough several years ago in its ability to crypt-analyze, or break, unfathomably complex encryption systems employed by not only governments around the world but also many average computer users in the US. The upshot, according to this official: “Everybody’s a target; everybody with communication is a target.”

- Wired.com

It has been reported that the center will be able to hold 5 Zettabytes of data, an unimaginable capacity. 5 Zettabytes is the equivalent of recording 180 million years of HD-TV video. If an 11 ounce coffee on your desk equals one Gigabyte, just one Zettabyte would have the same volume as the Great Wall of China.

What will the NSA be doing with all this data storage? The NSA says that they need it to help keep the country safe.

Here’s a thought… It looks like they may be recording every single thing about every single American (and others) from cradle to grave. And that’s probably just a drop in the bucket of their storage capacity.

Perhaps they’re looking to achieve perfect security in the U.S.

The thing is… the only way you can have perfect security is to have a perfect surveillance state. That’s George Orwell. That’s 1984. That’s what that would look like.

Concerns from critics about the new NSA spy center include the possibility that this data could be abused. Quoted from one critic during an investigation by Catherine Herridge (video below),

“That’s the real danger, because it’s really a ‘turn-key’ situation where it could be turned quickly and become a totalitarian state pretty quickly. The capacity to do that is being set up;” “It’s a lot of trust to put in one institution.”

A Short History of Pressure-Cooker Bombs

Authorities are now saying the explosive devices used in the Boston attack were fashioned from pressure cookers. Yes, like the kitchen pot you might use to cook rice at home. As it happens, pressure cookers have a nefarious reputation in counterterrorism circles. In 2004, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was concerned enough about pressure-cooker bombs to issue an alert to federal and state security officials: “A technique commonly taught in Afghan terrorist training camps is the use/conversion of pressure cookers into [improvised explosive devices],” the bulletin warned.

The identity of the Boston bomber or bombers remains very much unclear, and it would be foolish to jump to conclusions. It would also be foolish to ignore the twisted recent history of the pressure cooker as a method for killing innocent people.
