Stevia is a natural no-calorie sweetener
My son insisted that stevia was a grass, and a type of sugar cane. Well, I just had to do some research.. I knew instinctively that stevia is good for me. And having worked for Air Paraguay some years ago, I knew that it was first grown in South America. So.. yes, stevia is good for you, and no, stevia is not sugar cane! It is a leafy plant, stevia rebaudiana. Interesting that the last part of the name is also mine (in Spanish), Diana. It's my plant!
