Fake Doctor, Che fan planted at Town Hall meeting

 http://lonestartimes.com/2009/08/13/obama-camp-plants-fake-doc-che-fan-at-jackson-lee-forum/

I was reading the Chron's piece about Sheila Jackson Lee's town hall, when something caught my eye:

One supporter, Dr. Roxana Mayer, a physician who does not live in Jackson Lee's district, praised the reform plan for overhauling a broken system.

"I don't know what there is in the bill that creates such panic," she said.

In this video, Mayer claims to be a general practitioner, eliciting applause and even a hug from Queen Sheila:

Hat tip to the Lone Star Times on this story- which is reporting that the person asking the question is not a doctor as she claims- read and decide for yourself: http://lonestartimes.com/20... A G... )

Continued:

I'm not sure why, but something didn't smell right. So my colleagues and I did a little digging, and wouldn't you know it? Roxana Mayer is, like, totally not a doctor.

But she is an Obama campaign volunteer.

Our own David Jennings secured a phone interview, in which Mayer admitted to impersonating a physician, saying — get this — she thought it would help her credibility. (It didn't.)

Now here's where it spins off into a whole new dimension of weird. See the bug-eyed woman seated behind not-doctor Mayer?

Look familiar?

Yes, that little ray of sunshine, who accompanied Mayer to the meeting, is none other than Maria Isabel, the unhinged moonbat who ran a Barack Obama campaign office, complete with Che Guevara flag.

Hell, she's even wearing the exact same outfit she wore the last time we mocked her!

A word of advice to budding political operatives: when you need two plants, try to pick people smarter than actual plants.

This isn't brain surgery.

UPDATE:
The ChronBlog has updated their original article without noting that they were negligent in reporting.

The original text:

Some attendees at the meeting spoke in favor of the plan, go so far as to want a system where the government had complete control.

One supporter, Dr. Roxana Mayer, a physician who does not live in Jackson Lee's district, praised the reform plan for overhauling a broken system.

"I don't know what there is in the bill that creates such panic," she said.

Another supporter, Robbie Evans, concurred: "The United States pays more for health care than all the other industrial countries put together."

The revised text:

Some attendees at the meeting spoke in favor of the plan, go so far as to want a system where the government had complete control.

One supporter, Roxana Mayer, praised the reform plan for overhauling a broken system.

"I don't know what there is in the bill that creates such panic," she said.

Mayer identified herself as a physician who does not live in Jackson Lee's district. However, her name does not appear in the database maintained by the Texas Medical Board, which licenses all doctors in Texas.

Another supporter, Robbie Evans, concurred: "The United States pays more for health care than all the other industrial countries put together."

Good grief, the reporters at the ChronBlog have no shame. And Patterico caught them changing the caption on their picture without noting the correction:

UPDATE: Another shot of the Queen and her fake doctor.

Queen Sheila listens to her fake OFA doctor.

Queen Sheila listens to her fake OFA doctor.

The standard protocol for the Democrats, to brainwash their constituents, has not changed in 75 years. Just lie to them, be very vague with your answers while never actually answering any questions and have your bussed in Communists lie also.

The irony is, that lady claiming to be a Doctor is about the same caliber of Medical Care the government will provide the people in a Socialized Health Care System.

Does anyone else get the weird feeling that no matter WHAT the issue, the Left always land on the wrong foot?

And yet, somehow it doesn't seem to matter - they just admire the cleverness of the attempt.

  3. El Gordo on August 13th, 2009 at 5:50 am

Isn't it interesting that the Democrats always seem to be ahead of the power curve in predicting events? Speaker Pelosi sees Nazi's and swastikas, and viola, two days later, swastikas, Hitler photos, and Nazi uniforms start to appear. I'll have to admit though that I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, to find that Queen Shelia, that icon of mental health, integrity, intellect, and genuine concern for our nation would stoop to such tactics - it must be something put together without her knowledge by staff, or more likely, set up to embarrass her by the evil Republicans. Nothing else makes any sense.

There's some folks who have begun calling Democrat Town Hall meetings "greenhouses."

Because there"s so many plants in them.

In addition to the fake doctor at Queejn Sheila's meeting, and the 12 year old we found out about yesterday at Obama's, it looks like there's was another:

I live in new Hampshire and was particularily interested in seeing how well Obama's staged "town hall" meeting held in Portsmouth, NH, resonated with "Granite Staters". The wife and I were watching the local news last night and of course, the lead story was the "town hall" meeting. The video clip included a woman who was identified by name and her home town. She had been invited to stand at the podium and provide a short statement as to why she supports Obamacare.

The lady stated, "I have hepatitis-C and I am UNABLE to get healthcare". Well…that was a lie. And how do I know this? My wife, who is a nurse practitioner, happens to be her primary health care provider!! The woman is enrolled in a health care plan with Blue Cross/Blue Shield!

Of course, it would be a HIPPA violation to release this information to the press, so she…and the Obama administration…will get away with this bold faced LIE!!!!!

Amazing, and they wonder why the people have no trust in them! I hope
that Matt Bramanti sends his story to Fox or another news outlet so it will
get out. This whole thing is turning out like a bad conspiracy novel, only it
is true. What is really sad is the fact that, as far as I know, we have no legal recourse against them when they lie cheat and steal. Perhaps this is
something we may want to look into.

  7. Adee on August 13th, 2009 at 8:27 am

Agree with #6 Potcakedog that this needs to be sent to Fox News Channel. Also why not to Hannity, Laura, and Rush?

Queen Sheila has had plenty of time to think up excuses for her faux pas thus far at town halls. They will be interesting to hear.

Way to go David!! You've become a much better reporter than anyone @ The Comical GREAT reporter.

#8 - Really? I thought that was the point of the entire post, but maybe I needed to clarify it a little better. If the truth were known, I'd bet Rep. Scotts' sign with the swastika is also phoneyed up by a Dem as well, but we'll probably never know for sure.

  13. Allen Lewis on August 13th, 2009 at 9:25 am

Congratulations to LST for its excellent work on this story.

FYI all the Obama/Hitler photos at the TH last night were being handed out by the Lyndon LaRouche crowd.

Maybe Roxana Mayer wanted to be a Pediatric Doctor, but was not accepted into medical school, and in her mind, she somehow "IS" a doctor after going through school. Hey, maybe in her warped thinking, she is not in Grad school, but in her warped mind, she THINKS she is in Medical School about to graduate. Yeah, that's it. She has never awakened from her dream. She was talking in her sleep while sleep walking at the Town Hall meeting.

She can blame it on sleep walking.

  20. wagonburner on August 13th, 2009 at 10:10 am

"I'm not a doctor, but I play one on TV."

Maybe she stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.

  21. Fontessa on August 13th, 2009 at 10:13 am

Isn't it against the law to pass yourself off as a medical doctor? How many witnesses saw Mayer do this, and how many people may have believed her?

  22. Simple Simon on August 13th, 2009 at 10:15 am

    Stupid - Stupid - Stupid

Over the years…I have found (sometimes painfully) that the truth plays a lot better in the end than a lie which will eventually be discovered.

    Stupid - Stupid - Stupid

  23. Texanadian on August 13th, 2009 at 10:22 am

that the truth plays a lot better in the end than a lie

Simple, I learned a long time ago that honesty is not the best policy -
    It is the only policy.

To bad our politicians never learned it.

With so much access to information, the liberal media is having a harder time helping Hussein push his socialistic agenda. As more stories come out about how these so-called meetings are "staged", creditabilty takes a major hit. If the liberal media doesn't start challenging these "staged" events, they will take a hit. With all that has been going on at these town hall meetings, you knew something had to be "staged" when Hussein's went so smoothly. You know the cameras will be rolling if they try to bus in the participants for the next Hussein "propaganda" meeting.

  25. Texanadian on August 13th, 2009 at 10:50 am

the cameras will be rolling if they try to bus in the participants for the next Hussein "propaganda" meeting.

Why don't we ever see news clips of the folks getting off the buses? I heard at Obamanations town hall there were about four of them.

  26. TopGun on August 13th, 2009 at 11:11 am

Maybe the fine "Doctor" was honing her lying / inferior speaking skills while aspiring to become a full-time politician, being a career as a Doctor is obviously off the table now.

  27. Big45Iron on August 13th, 2009 at 1:12 pm

I must admit she's a fairly attractive looking fake. But you have to wonder when she shows up with Maria Isabel! It's important for people to remember what people like Isabel are all about.

    Great investigative reporting guys.

Since we will not hear about this on ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, etc perhaps you should consider forwarding it to Drudge, FOX, Rush, Hannity, Etc.

  30. Potcakedog on August 13th, 2009 at 3:17 pm

Looks like the word is out and spreading fast. I have heard about this on Hannity and several other talk radio shows today. Great job to all the folks
at Lonestar Times. This type of action is what is going to save us
from tryanny. Let's all keep it up! Whoof Whoof!

My girlfriend just got back from the Humble P.O. a guy was there, passing out Obama photos with the stache on them. My girlfriend spoke with them a while, said she really didn't know anything but here's my girlfriends #. Call her. When she asked if I knew who the LaRouche's were. I groaned. She gave them my freakin' cell phone # !!!!

She did say that she would make time to attend some of these meetings with me.

  33. Darren10 on August 13th, 2009 at 4:19 pm

This is an outstanding post. You're very insightful and your write up is still cracking me up.

    Excellent digging yourself DJ.

Those meetings oughta be a hoot. LaRoucheites aren't as hot as your fireman friends, but they're more likely to be nearer to "age appropriate".

They're also really nutty, so they should be entertaining.

  35. Darren10 on August 13th, 2009 at 4:23 pm

Mayer identified herself as a physician who does not live in Jackson Lee's district. However, her name does not appear in the database maintained by the Texas Medical Board, which licenses all doctors in Texas.

So, in other words, they cannot "authenticate" her doctor liscense?

  36. David Jennings on August 13th, 2009 at 4:27 pm

    34 cartinflamer,

, but they're more likely to be nearer to "age appropriate".

You are oh so wrong. The LaRouchie's are kids, mostly white males from 16-25. They are angry but don't know why and his "philosophy" attracts them. Trust me on this, I've encountered them at 6 different town halls now.

But there are some older ones left, especially those ones that hang out in front of the various courthouses around the county.

  37. "The Mob" on August 13th, 2009 at 4:42 pm

Is there any way we can file a complaint about this woman, posing as a Dr.? I'm not sure which website. Greg Abbott?

  38. wagonburner on August 13th, 2009 at 4:52 pm

Really? Dang. I guess they've gone through a lot of turnover or a revolution ( :) ). The only ones I've seen are not quite Geritol users.

But there are some older ones left, especially those ones that hang out in front of the various courthouses around the county.

Those are the ones I've seen. I guess they don't want to get their hair mussed.

  39. "The Mob" on August 13th, 2009 at 6:08 pm

At the 1st town hall meeting, the 1st? LaRouche dude sat next to me, praying that nobody would think he was with me. There were empty seats, for peet's sake. I think he gave me cooties. :( Thanks anyhoo, guys. I'll stick with the firemen.
