OSLO, Norway - Former U.N. chief weapons inspector Hans Blix said Monday  
that Iran is a least five years away from developing a nuclear bomb, 
leaving  time to peacefully negotiate a settlement.   
 
----------    Without playing word games  about the difference between  
atomic bombs and nuclear bombs -  
it didn't take the US five years  
starting from scratch -  to build the bomb  that was dropped on Hiroshima. 
   
Surely,  with all of Iran's PhDs  existing plans on the Internet  
help from Russia, Pakistan, North Korea,  all the parts and pieces  
that they are supposed to have purchased  from France, Germany, Ukraine -  
it isn't going to take them that long  to build something  
that would make quite a dent in Israel -  if they start today -  
and they started years ago.    
 
----------  An alternate view  is that they already have nukes -  
that they purchased -  along with the means to deliver them.    
 
It really doesn't make any difference  what I believe  or what you believe -  
the key is what  Israel believes.

Council on Foreign Relations:     
"To ease Russian pressure on neighboring states," it said, "the United  
States should work to accelerate those states' integration into the West."  
  
Russian response:        "We are gradually being pushed to the northeast 
of the Eurasian  continent away from the seas . . . 
to the place where the depths of freezing is more than two meters," 
said Natalia Narochnitskaya, vice chairman of the  
international affairs committee in the State  Duma, the lower house of  
Russia's parliament, and a member of the nationalist Rodina Party.
       
 She rues the loss of the three Baltic states to European Union and NATO  
membership and the possible loss of Russia's naval presence on the Black  Sea.    
To which  the Council on Foreign Relations  responds:

"the United States could hit Russia and China without serious risk of retaliation."    
 
----------    Nope, the folks in Washington are just a bit 
putout that  Russia is giving Iran  a free pass at the UN Security Council.    
The IAEA has been given thirty days  to report back  -  
 
but Iran said the day that  the Security Council directive came out -    
"Don't bother -  the UN Security Council can stick it."    
And Russia has already replied -  "Oh, well okay."    
 
----------  About every other day  Iran reports having tested  another weapon.    
But Blix, Russia and China  all say that isn't anything serious.    
At one time -  I thought I had it figured out.    
Netanyahu said he would have  attacked Iran in December  if he had the choice.    
But Sharon seemed to be  getting things lined up for January,  
when the stroke struck.    So -  that left Olmert  facing the elections  
and he wasn't a general  like Sharon or Netanyahu -  
so I haven't a clue as to his strategy.  
It is said -  that he planned it that way -  
that no one knows what he plans to do.    
 
Anyway -  Passover will pass  about the middle of April.  
Iran's thirty days will be up  by the first of May -  
and the report back  for Security Council decision  
probably before the middle of May -  
but I don't know  that any of that makes any difference.     
 
----------    No need to go on about  all the stuff happening  in the world.    
Racism and immigration demonstrations  in the US.    
Over a thousand being killed  each month, now,  in Iraq.    
Hamas and the hard-line -  in Palestine.    
 
Tornados, earthquakes, volcanoes -  even nature is stirred up.    
 
Skipping the speculations  about reverse speech -  and peoples dreams -  
it is all just saying  that many people in many places  
have a sense that things  are moving forward toward  
a major event of some sort.    
Meetings today in Whitehall,  and editorials in UK papers  
with speculations that  it is about to come down in Iran.  
Many, many conventional people -  at high levels in the government  
and media  with this point of view.    
But - personally -  I am giving up  at least for the moment  with predictions -  
after my fiasco in December  leading up to January.    
 
God had other plans for Sharon -  and none of us know what He has in store  
for any of us -  or all of us -  collectively.
    
I will tell you one other little thing.  
It is key to keep in tune  with the Divine will -  
and while I don't have  any private pipeline -  
I have always felt very, very blessed -  
and it does seem  that things are coming together  - 
in some ways for the first time -  on this end.     
 
My bottom line recommendation is  to stay with the prep program -  
but it is keeping me very busy -  from very early to very late -  each day.
