Dear Friends -
Israel is at war. In this fourth day of the conflict, Israel has
launched more air strikes against targets in Lebanon. Hezbollah
continues to launch hundreds of rockets into civilian towns in
northern Israel.
Hezbollah has fired two Chinese developed, Iranian "Silkworm" C802
missiles targeted at an Israeli warship in the sea near Beirut on
Friday. The first rocket missed and the second hit the helicopter
deck, four Israeli sailors were reported missing, one confirmed
dead, as the ship had serious fires on board. Thankfully the fires
were brought under control, and the ship has since been towed back
to an Israeli sea port.
Early on Saturday, more rockets were fired at Israeli warships.
According to the Israeli military, the rockets missed and hit an
Egyptian merchant ship.
Israel has been under heavy shelling the entire night. For the first
time in the conflict Hezbollah fired 12 new Iranian Fajr 5 rockets
on Tiberius and Carmel. There were 12 wounded in Tiberius, and over
60 in northern Israel. There is much heavy damage to property and
houses all over northern Israel including the main Israel port city
of Haifa.
Israel has given Syria a 72 hour ultimatum to stop Hezbollah's
activity, REPEAT ? ISRAEL HAS GIVEN SYRIA A 72 HOUR ULTIMATUM TO
STOP HEZBOLLAH'S ACTIVITY, and bring about the release of kidnapped
IDF troops.
This is the fourth day of violence after July 11 when Hezbollah
attacked Israeli army patrols, and captured two Israeli soldiers in
a mission Hezbollah called "Truthful Promise". Israel later
confirmed the soldiers were kidnapped. On July 12 Israel set up a
blockade of Lebanon, and attacked Beirut International Airport and
other areas in Lebanon, while Hezbollah fired rockets at towns in
northern Israel. The rockets fired on Israeli towns, and the IDF air
strikes, and shelling continues and is still increasing.
Israel is continuing its offensive in the Gaza strip against Hamas.
That offensive began in late June after Hamas attacked an IDF base
on the fence. Yes, the attack on the IDF base at the fence PROVED
HOW WORTHLESS THE WHOLE IDEA OF A SECURITY FENCE IS TO PROTECT FROM
TERRORISTS WITH ROCKETS, ARTILLARY, AND MORTARS, The Hamas attack on
the fence IDF base, killed two Israeli soldiers and another soldier
named Gilad Shalit was kidnapped. Fighting is still limited and
great care is being taken by the IDF to avoid hitting civilian
targets. But the IDF is fighting in Gaza far more seriously than
before.
There is no question ? Israel is at war.
The small nation of Israel behaves much like a family. There is DEEP
division among the people of Israel in regard to an obviously
corrupt PERES government gone mad. However, there is NO division
among the people toward one another, and toward support of the IDF.
Yet, the folly, and corruption, and treachery of the PERES
government of Israel have certainly brought this war.
The issue of the disengagement was the particular issue showing the
madness and corruption of the government. The present PM Olmert
OPENLY STILL states he intends, even though the eviction and
expulsion of 9000 Jews from Gaza brought this war, that he STILL
plans to expel over 70,000 more Jews from Judea and Samaria. The
people know such madness and treachery brought this war. The unity
to support the IDF is perfect. A large majority of that one small
nation of Israel has had enough of the corruption and treachery of
the 4 horns of the Peres government, which brought this war.
Everyone in Israel is pulling together, doing what they can to help
one another. Families in the north are leaving to spend time with
family and friends in the center of the country until quiet returns,
whether that be days, weeks or months. All hope they may return
soon.
Israel is at war, but there is nothing unique about that statement.
Israel has been at war, in one way or another, ever since Israel was
established. There is not another country in the world which has had
to defend its very right to exist ever since it came into existence.
This is the history of the nation of Israel, the oldest nation on
earth ? the only nation whose people still live in the land
possessed by their ancestors. Israel is a nation, which has fought,
and is fighting, and will continue to fight to possess the land that
God specifically granted to them. No nation on earth has a more sure
title deed. Political or Government insanity like the Gaza
disengagement, and the unilateral withdrawal from Lebanon, has
brought this war. The Peres plan to give the mountains of Israel to
the terrorists WILL NOT STAND.
That may be the best news coming out of this war. The people of
Israel are fed up with the corruption and madness and treachery of
the PERES Government. The Handwriting may FINALLY be on the wall as
Daniel interpreted PERES - PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given
not to the Meads and Persians but to the PEOPLE OF ISRAEL.
This war brings the Handwriting on the wall for the PERES
government. Read it in Daniel chapter 5. Then was the part of the
hand sent from him; and this writing was written. And this is the
writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, PERES. This is the
interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom,
and finished it. TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art
found wanting. PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to? we hope
it will be a RIGHTEOUS leader like King David.
