This sinkhole formed Monday in Seffner, Fla., less than two miles from one that killed a man on Thursday.
What's with these sinkholes in Florida?
Officials in Seffner, Fla., are investigating a second sinkhole that has formed less than two miles from the one that opened up underneath a house on Thursday and killed Jeff Bush.
"There's hardly a place in Florida that's immune to sinkholes," Sandy Nettles, who owns a geology consulting company in the Tampa area, told the Associated Press. "There's no way of ever predicting where a sinkhole is going to occur."

SEFFNER, Fla. - A second sinkhole has opened in a Seffner neighborhood, just two miles from where another sinkhole swallowed a man in his bedroom last week.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue and code enforcement officials were called to a home on Cedar Tree Lane to determine if it's safe for the family to stay in the house.
A second house also appears to be threatened, but there was no visible structural damage to the houses.
The sinkhole is estimated to be about 20 feet across and 10 feet deep, and it's straddling a fence between the properties.
The second sinkhole opened the same day workers demolished the blue, one-story home over the first hole, which is 60 feet deep.
Workers were able to salvage some belongings for the family of Jeff Bush, whose body has not been recovered. The 20-foot-wide opening of the sinkhole was covered by the house and rescuers said there were no signs of life since the hole opened late Thursday night.
