The tornadoes this year in the U.S. are shaping up to be one of the craziest in memory. It’s one thing to encounter tornadoes in the traditional geographic areas of the country, ‘tornado alley’, but how often do we hear about tornadoes in Massachusetts or California?
Having grown up in Massachusetts, I am very familiar with the area where this tornado touched down today in the Springfield area, taking 4 lives. In addition, how often do we hear about a tornado touching down in California? One did today, in Yuba City, and not that long ago, a tornado also touched down in Chico.
