Former USGS Geologist predicts California Quake

Jim Berkland studies patterns, based on  moon phases, lunar tides, animal behaviors, bird and fish kills, solar flares, historical comparison statististics, electromagnetic bombardment from sun, earth's magnetosphere, among other scientific calculations.  He predicted the October 13th, 1989 'World Series' earthquake just days before it happened.

"I used to just scoff at these kinds of things, because I was a mainstream geologist until I found out that earthquakes are fitting a pattern. The big earthquake in the Indian Ocean followed massive beachings of whales in Taiwan—and not [just] Taiwan, but New Zealand and Australia and Tasmania. And then within couple of days, they had a 8.3 in south of New Zealand, and then came the 9.1 in the Indian Ocean, with the big tsunami, on the very day of the full moon."

      Michael Scott Animals everywhere have been acting wierd! I had two big owls near my house, fighting in mid air at night and all the other owls were hooting. The sound was scary. Never had that happen before, last week my cousins dog was pawing at her and didn't want to go outside (they always want outside). I seen many weird things in two week period!

• a major quake would certainly overwhelm our system. I'm not much for "pre predictions" as they have been notoriously bad in the past, however we all know it's just a matter of time before the west coast gets a "big one". The fish kill was disturbing too. all we can do is be as prepared as possible and have a plan for emergencies.  prep and pray folks!
