"....oil: It can get a bit dicey -- with extreme and perhaps crazy scenarios...." taken with great caution."

 Excerpt~
"Depending on the height of the tsunami, the ocean debris, oil, and existing structures that will be washed away on shore and inland will leave the area from fifty to two hundred miles inland devoid of life. Even if the debris is cleaned up, the contaminants that will be in the ground and water supply will prohibit re-population of these areas for an unknown number of years. Take a U. S. map, lay it flat, and measure inland just the minimum fifty miles of total destruction all around the Gulf of Mexico as to what you will read below. The carnage to the United States is so staggering, it will take your breath away. Should what the scientists who are trying to warn everyone about be even close to being true... all of Florida will be completely destroyed as will everyone and everything on it."
Huh?
We're not ready to leave Florida, just yet."

SUMMER UNEASE AS EXTRAORDINARY OIL CRISIS LEADS TO 'RADICAL' THOUGHTS OF PROPHECY
See Explanation. Clicking on the picture will download the highest resolution version available.

These are stormy times, to say the least. Who isn't noticing? Everybody senses that something is up.
There are the tornadoes -- plowing through whole townships (Connecticut: recently so pummeled). There are quakes (now, in Canada, felt down to Pennsylvania). There's the economy: some prominent "experts" are now saying we could be headed back to another crisis and may even be in America's third "depression" (see Paul Krugman, who won the Nobel Prize in economics in 2008).
They are uneasy times with a sense we have lost control (which we have) and this is best exemplified by the Gulf oil gusher. The crisis has caused many to rethink the very nature of oil and, radically enough, whether we should be using it. There are interesting questions. Is oil actually a "fossil fuel," derived from decayed vegetal material (which makes it more palatable as something to burn), or is it abiogenic and part of a geophysical configuration which we don't yet understand?
Our technology can see just a fraction of what's beneath the surface, with our deepest equipment only able to go down four miles while it's 4,000 miles to the innermost core. Can drilling cause effects? In White County, Arkansas, where they have more than two thousand wells for natural gas, there was recently a spate of earthquakes. "Scientists have found certain earthquakes to have been caused by man-made operations, such as re-injecting fluids in an oil field or emptying a large reservoir," Don Blakeman, a geophysicist for the U.S. Geological Survey, told a newspaper there. Meanwhile there's a video clip from years ago showing the Soviets as once using an underground nuclear charge to halt a runaway surface rig that was spewing fire. No one knows if the video is propaganda. But it shows the dangers. Every year, the equivalent of two Exxon Valdezspills contaminates rivers and springs in Nigeria alone (but garners no publicity). While solar energy is more expensive, the Vatican is behind it and it's interesting to note the oil that comes from above is clear and health-giving (see olive oil), what comes from below is black, as if in metaphor. Meanwhile, the olive branch is a symbol of peace while crude oil causes wars. By the fruits? It is also petroleum that made families like the Rockefellers (as in Bilderberg Group).
At any rate: points at least for holiday debate as we lean back and contemplate the direction of the societies of men in the summer sun (but not on Gulf beaches).
Here's a question: have we developed our technology according to the Holy Spirit or according to scientists who largely dismiss His existence?
It is for our discernment.
There are "faces" in clouds. There is prophecy, in our uneasy time. There are strange murals at the Denver International Airport -- and now some see subconscious prophecy with an artist there who [left] depicted an explosion that could be taken we suppose as an oil rig and beneath (to the left) a whale in red and light brown water (the oil in the Gulf has alternately looked reddish and brown depending on the spill area).
Probably, there is no connection. But, again, summer musings: do artists sometimes pick up "precognitive" messages?
In Argentina is an artist named Benjamin Solari Parravicini who has foreseen many future events (it is asserted), starting in 1935 with a drawing that showed Mussolini hanging, head down (as later occurred in 1945, next to Clareta Pettacci). Parravicini was once quoted as prophesying that, "The North American elephant will drink black water through its trunk and its evil will begin."
Picturing the peninsula of Baja California as a trunk, one can picture the U.S. as an elephant, with a bit of imagination.
But Parravicini -- born Catholic -- also seems "psychic," claims alien encounters (he was in touch with an "astro-navigator"), and had experiences as a child that sound like poltergeist phenomena (stones tossed out of nowhere). Thus, great caution. And always this question: what in such predictions and even with Catholic "seers" comes from parapsychology (occult) and what is from the Holy Spirit?
Down there -- in Brazil -- is also the reputed visionary Pedro Régis -- who on June 26 said he was told this by the Blessed Mother (according to an initial rough translation from Portuguese):
"Dear children, I am your sorrowful Mother and I suffer for what comes to you. Pray. Do not turn away from prayer. That is the time of sorrows to mankind. The death will pass through the Gulf Coast causing great destruction. Such suffering will occur in your Brazil. Tend to courage, faith, and hope. I know every one of you by name and ask to my Jesus for you. Do not lose heart. Do not back out. You have still a long and thorny way to go. Seek strength in Jesus."
That's a Google translation.
Back last March 18 -- a month before the calamity -- Régis quoted Mary as prophesying (almost identically): "A morte passará pela costa do Golfo e deixará um grande rastro de destruição. Eu sou a vossa Mãe dolorosa e sofro por causa dos vossos sofrimentos. Coragem, or "Death will pass on the coast of the Gulf, and will leave a great trail of destruction."
So now one may ask: why a second message, saying essentially the same thing? Was not the "death" he originally pronounced not the men who died on the rig? Or will additional deaths come (prayer need here, especially with all the dark theories that abound, from methane bubbles to an oil volcano).
Pedro's most recent message (6/30) pertains to the Church: "It will have great trials," he reports, ostensibly from Mary. "The Church of my Jesus will experience the weight of the troubles and she will come to the ordeal. There will be great persecution of the Church. The dogmas are despised and men and women of faith will be persecuted. Whatever happens, do not let the devil win. One scandal will shake the world. The devil's mask will fall."
And so forth.
Back to oil: It can get a bit dicey -- with extreme and perhaps crazy scenarios that should therefore be taken with great caution.
One e-mail circulating: "What U.S. Scientists Are Forbidden To Tell The Public About The Gulf: It has been estimated by experts that the pressure which blows the oil into the Gulf waters is estimated to be between 20,000 and 70,000 PSI (pounds per square inch). Impossible to control.

"What you are about to read, is what the scientists in the United States are not allowed to tell you in great fear of the Obama administration.

"They are under the threat of severe repercussions to the max. Scientists confirming these findings cannot be named due to the above, but what they believe, they want to be known by all.
"At some point the drilled hole in the earth will enlarge itself beneath the wellhead to weaken the area the wellhead rests upon. The intense pressure will then push the wellhead off the hole allowing a direct unrestricted flow of oil, etc. The hole will continue to increase in size allowing more and more oil to rise into the Gulf. After several billion barrels of oil have been released, the pressure within the massive cavity five miles beneath the ocean floor will begin to normalize. This will allow the water, under the intense pressure at 1 mile deep, to be forced into the hole and the cavity where the oil was. The temperature at that depth is near 400 degrees, possibly more. The water will be vaporized and turned into steam, creating an enormous amount of force, lifting the Gulf floor. It is difficult to know how much water will go down to the core and therefore, its not possible to fully calculate the rise of the floor. The tsunami wave this will create will be anywhere from twenty to eighty feet high, possibly more. Then the floor will fall into the now vacant chamber. This is how nature will seal the hole.

Huh?
We're not ready to leave Florida, just yet.

[Further note: An old Cree prophecy allegedly says, "Only after the last tree has been cut down, only after the last fish has been caught, only after the last river has been poisoned, only then will you find money cannot be eaten."]
